The ask-4 Business Solutions Online Recruitment POD is built using pure Metastorm BPM and HTML to provide a rich user experience.
Potential Candidates can visit your website and click on a URL that will enable them to register details; Name, address, contact information along with an Email address and Password which will later be used to grant them access into a secure portal where they can:-
- Start a New Application
- Continue with an existing application
The Online Recruitment POD is made of 10 forms that allow easy
navigation with NEXT and BACK buttons. Through the portal, Candidates
also have the ability to park an application and continue with the same
application at a later date when they have collected more information.
Finally once submitted, the candidate receives a confirmation email highlighting next actions and the application is submitted to an appropriate department within your organisation for forward routing and consideration.

Challenge
Managing changes to an IT infrastructure requires careful planning and execution. With our client's manual-based system, assigned staff within IS would email details about changes to the department so that any issues regarding the change could be addressed in advance. Although effective, they identified a number of issues with this; being able to monitor approvals of change, the need for auditing and to provide IS staff a more effective method of being able to raise any concerns.
Solution
Our client worked with ask-4 Business Solutions to develop an automated IT Change process based on Metastorm BPM. The new system allows management and staff to initiate and track IT Changes throughout the process and provides ‘full’ auditing capabilities so that visibility of change is clear to all. The final part of the solution provides members within IS and management the ability to electronically raise any concerns prior to the date of change.
